The Royal family of the British Empire follows the members’ custom of sharing holiday cards! These cards are mostly nuclear in form, as they include pictures of the nuclear family and a quote they want to share.
Prince Harry and Megan have followed the custom previously, as they have posted on social media. The cards included pictures of the two couples and their children, Lilibet and Archie, in the past, but this year, the card has been quite unconventional!
The holiday card they released consists of a picture taken at the closing ceremony of the Invictus Games organized in September in Dusseldorf, Germany. The card is in virtual form and sent via email, linking the impact report of the Archwell Foundation between 2022 and 2023.
The impact report has been created to highlight all the projects the Archewell organization has done between 2022 and 2023. The company is a production and audio company and is a foundation heavily into charity work.
The card read, “We wish you a jubilant holiday season, Thanks for all the support in 2023”! The organization has been heavily involved in identifying the gaps in humanitarian issues; one such concern was helping women who have left Afghanistan.
Furthermore, the foundation has also tried to create a network for the families impacted negatively by online harm! The Invictus Games is an athletic tournament Prince Harry runs for injured veterans. It is an integral part of his charity.
The weird part of this year’s holiday card by Prince Harry and Megan is that it seems more like an organizational approach than a family one. They have become professionals without any emotional quotient in their holiday cards. Even their children are not involved in the picture.
Prince William and his wife, Kate Middleton, have released their family card, which includes a black and white shot of their children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, along with the future King and Queen Consort! The difference between the Princes is clear!
