It all comes from the “Book of Mormon,” an irreverent production of joy and a laugh-out-loud vibe instead of the cynical representation of life as it is made out to be. When you question do Mormons celebrate Christmas?
The answer is yes, they do, and you will get the answer in their book! It is all about how charity is an important part of the celebration that the Mormons do for Christmas. Completely different from the popular belief that Mormons are quite boring when it comes to Christmas, it is all about community for them.
Recently, the “Book of Mormon” has been taken up by Broadway to stage as the creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker focus on the script. Furthermore, many Mormon missionaries worldwide are helping the play by making it more viral.
The music was given for the stage show by Robert Lopez, who also provided music to Avenue Q! In the Ugandan village, Mormon missionaries have been trying to convert residents. This play will also be available in the Ugandan village around 7:30 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, 9th and 10th December!
You can also watch the play at 2 p.m. on Sunday. The show tickets will be sold for $55, and they are available at 1051 Main St. at the Sharon L. Morse Performing Arts Center, The Villages. This is a perfect example of a fun-loving session by the Mormons, along with giving to the people in need!
Helping people in need, giving company to those who might feel lonely or isolated, and other humanitarian grounds, Mormons are all about the happy Christmas vibe. Their celebration pattern includes helping needy people and those who are in need.
The stage production will continue from Wednesdays to Sundays! The production runs till 10th December, along with another heart-of-gold holiday production, “Grumpy Old Men: The Musical.”
