Elon Musk Reacts On Twitter Suing Him, Tweets, “Oh The Irony Lol”

Elon Musk

The drama between Twitter and Elon musk seems to have several turns of events. After the tech entrepreneur refused to go through with his deal to acquire Twitter for $54.20 for each share, the microblogging site sued Musk for his denial of the agreement.

On Tuesday, After the Tesla CEO refused to seal the deal, Twitter filed a case against Musk in the Delaware court. It looks like Twitter intends to force Musk to go through with the agreement after he denied the deal of a $44 billion acquisition of Twitter.

Once the news surfaced of Twitter suing Elon Musk, he took to Twitter, Tweeting, “Oh the irony lol.” Although he did not specify his intent behind such a Tweet, it is obvious after connecting the dots right after the suit was filed against him.

The series of surprises started after Musk decided to purchase the entire share of Twitter in April. Elon Musk entered into a bidding merger with Twitter, and the transaction value was $44 billion. But, he put his deal on hold in May and set his team to verify the legitimacy of twitter’s claim that less than 5% of the users are bots or spam.

Last week on Friday, Musk said that announced his refusal to buy Twitter and not go through with his $44 billion merger deal. A few days ago, he also ridiculed twitter as they initiated a legal fight with the tech mogul. Musk tweeted four of his laughing images and wrote on Twitter, –

“They said I couldn’t buy Twitter. Then they wouldn’t disclose bot information. Now they want to force me to buy Twitter in court. Now they have to disclose bot information in court.”

This remains to be seen where this legal battle takes Elon musk and Twitter.
