Who Was Jeffrey Dahmer_

A serial killer who murdered 17 men and boys, Jeffrey Dahmer, committed these acts between the years 1978 and 1991! After killing his victims, he used to commit sexual acts with them. The weird part of this story is that most of his victims were Latino and Black!

It was a well-thought-out plan by Dahmer because, during that time, individuals belonging to minority groups! The real-life incident has been further dramatized in the series on Netflix, Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story.

It is quite controversial, and people sometimes felt he was being accredited for his crimes! The extent to which his crimes went was that he sexually assaulted a man in 1989, and after two years, Dahmer assaulted his brother and killed him.

Read along to learn about this brother, Konerack Sinthasomphone, who could have been saved but, before that, knows who the 14-year-old boy is! You will get a better idea as to why Dahmer chose him to be one of his victims.

Do you wonder how Dahmer lured Konerak Sinthasomphone? Did you know Konerak Sinthasomphone died even after he went to the police? Not all the information and evidence related to the Police reports is public.

However, there has been some information regarding the case of Jeffrey Dahmer. For example, the police were negligent in this case.

Konerak Sinthasomphone could have been saved! As per the Netflix documentary, it was the failure of the police that encouraged Dahmer to continue his crimes.

Even when he was on probation, he had the guts to get away with his crimes because of the failure of the police! The young teenager was lured to the apartment by Dahmer with the promise of payment for posing for photographs.

Dahmer took Konerak home and then drugged him and tried to lobotomize him! He then left the apartment to bring supplies, and when he returned, he saw Konerak sitting outside, naked and bleeding.

The victim belonged to the Sinthasomphone family from Laos in the 1980s! The reason why his family left Laos was because the communist takeover in 1975 made matters quite difficult. Konerak’s father was a farmer who relocated with nine children and his wife!

At that time, Konerak was just three years old. Later, he grew up in the neighborhood and played soccer at Mitchell Park. At the time of his death, Konerak was a freshman studying at Pulaski High School.

He was an Asian boy, which did not work in his favor! Especially when it came to the police becoming more aware of the steps required to rescue him!

The police made no formal report or complaint when they arrived at the apartment.

Even though the women constantly complained about Dahmer and pointed out that there was something strange about him, it was still not enough to get him arrested. What a horrifying coincidence it is that Dahmer contacted both the Sinthasomphone brothers!

Almost Escaped…

Almost Escaped…

Konerak escaped the apartment of Jeffrey Dahmer but was so weak with the drugs that he just sat outside shivering! Three women found him like that and called the police. Three officers, John Balcerzak, Joseph T. Gabrish, and Richard Porubcan, responded to the call.

The young teenager was literally under the influence of drugs, and it was quite visible! The officers arrived at the scene while the three women who were black surrounded Konerak and were trying to understand the situation. This is when Dahmer came back and convinced them Konerak was his boyfriend!

Even though the officers checked his apartment, they noted a strange smell! However, they recorded it as a domestic squabble of homosexuals and left Konerak with Jeffrey Dahmer.

The officers did not evaluate too deeply into the situation, even when the 14-year-old boy was bruised, naked, and bleeding. When the officers left the apartment, Dahmer killed Konerak in just an hour.

If they could have just done a background check on Dahmer, they would have seen that he had a record of being a sex offender. Later, when he was arrested, the officers were suspended based on their role in the murder of Konerak! Even though those individuals were broken, they were reinstated.

The irony of the situation is that Balcerzak was also elected to the Milwaukee Police Association as president in 2005. He stayed for the position in 2009 while also being awarded $55,000 as a back pay!

For a long time, these police officers were part of the force, and there has not been any punishment for their inconsistency!

The Shocking Quotient!

The Shocking Quotient!

Konerak Sinthasomphone’s remains were found among the 11 victims’ remains found in Dahmer’s apartment! But that was not all! Did you know that the first time Jeffrey Dahmer was arrested was when he drugged and molested Konerak’s elder brother, Somsack Sinthasomphone, in 1988?

Just like he did with most of his victims, Dahmer promised money to Somsack if he came back to his apartment and let him take some photographs. When the criminal was arrested, he pleaded guilty to the charges of second-degree sexual assault.

Furthermore, there were other charges, such as luring a minor for immoral purposes! Dahmer was then in prison for one year for assault and was released with a sentence of a probation period of five years. In the probation period, he killed about 12 boys and men, including Konerak!

Finishing Off…

Now that you know that Dahmer killed 17 people, Konerak Sinthasomphone being the 13th, do you think he could have been saved? The Milwaukee police contributed to the situation by not investigating effectively!

The police believed that Dahmer and Konerak were involved in a homosexual relationship. And yet they did notice some signs such as a strange smell in the apartment and bruises and bleeding of Konerak!

Comment on the extreme impact that Dahmer had on different victims while the carelessness of the police further added to the crimes.
