For India, ISRO’s Soft Landing The Moon Is One Of The Greatest Achievements!

ISRO launched Aditya-L1, and the achievement is huge! This is because the country has long worked hard on its space missions. Chandrayaan-3 mission was successful, considering meager countries have achieved this feat!

As the Chief of the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), S Somnath, said, “we have achieved soft landing, India is on the Moon.” India, as a nation, created history. A lone natural satellite, the Moon has always fascinated young scientists, and for India to reach 3,84,400 km away was a significant achievement.

With groundbreaking achievements, India will be known for its space exploration and go head-to-head with the achievements of Russia and the United States. The first-ever soft landing is, however, completely claimed by India, specifically at the south polar region of the Moon.

Apart from the Lunar mission, India has also embarked on the maiden Solar mission, which will further show the technological prowess and progress of the country. The nation has suffered from specific aspects of the coronavirus pandemic, leading to lockdowns impacting their economy, culture, and lifestyle.

Furthermore, India also experienced a heartbreaking failure in terms of ISRO losing the Chandrayaan-2 mission, yet they stood strong, showing monumental engineering capabilities. ISRO became the beacon of inspiration for other space research institutions!

With the success of Chandrayaan-3, India has taken their seat in the elite section for countries in the space exploration industry. It is the fourth country to have successfully soft land on the Moon after the Soviet Union, China, and the United States. However, the south region of the Moon was completely untouched, hence making India the first to explore the specific area. Moreover, the mission was not just about soft landing but also checking the successful integration of technological demonstrations and experiments through Vikram Lander. It has been further propelled towards the orbit of Earth from Lunar orbit!
