What Will Happen When The Ark Of The Covenant Will Be Found?

ark of the covenant found

Do you believe that the Christians in Ethiopia have any claim on the Ark of the Covenant? Do you consider that the Ark of the Covenant was found? I will describe the artifact’s significance in the Bible in this article.

In the Book of Exodus, God commands Moses to make acacia wood after the Israelites were released from slavery in Egypt. Then, the Israelites built a chest or Ark, which was gilded inside and out. The mystery revolving around the Ark is very similar to that of the Chinese pyramids!

According to the legacy, Moses put the stone tablets on the Ark! These are inscribed with the Ten Commandments given to him on Mount Sinai. Read the article to become more aware of what happened with the Ark of the Covenant!

What Will Happen When The Ark Of The Covenant Will Be Found?

In the book The Sign and the Seal, writer Graham Hancock wrote that the Ark was an embodiment of God himself. Even the Israelites also believed that in both Biblical and Archaic sense. The Ark has been connected several times with the miracles described in the Old Testament!

During Exodus, it has been said that the Arkared the path for challenges and difficulties, such as poisonous animals and impediments. According to the Bible, for the Israelites, the moment the Ark bearers set foot on the Jordan River, which flowed into the Promised Land, the river stopped flowing.

Easy Conquest of Jericho also mentions the Israelites blowing trumpets and carrying the Ark around the city, making the wall fall on its own. It is also an archaeological hint towards the existence of the real Jesus. Is the Ark very similar to the Alexander the Great Tomb? Never been found and yet people cannot forget it?

The Israelites were conquered between 597 and 586 B.C., and the Ark was supposed to be in a Temple in Jerusalem! Based on the historical evidence, if the Ark of the Covenant were found, it would be a significant religious and political matter!

What Is The Ark Of The Covenant?

What Is The Ark Of The Covenant_

The artifact is legendary for its ornate and gilded case, built about 3000 years ago! The stone tablets of the Ten Commandments Moses gave were housed in this Ark! The Ark was said to be made of gold-plated wood, looking like a seaman’s chest, which two golden large angels then topped.

The Ark was carried with poles put through rings of the Ark that are on its side! In the Old Testament, several incidents have been related to the Ark. Therefore, if you question its significance, it has a huge religious, cultural, and political connection.

The Claim By Ronald Wyatt!

Ronald Wyatt, an Archeologistmade a claim that while he was digging in the area of Garden Tomb, a place popular as a theorized location for the crucifixion of Jesus, he stumbled on post holes cut. There were several holes in the bedrock, and it was among one of these that there was a crack in the base!

This led him to continue underground through a separate tunnel channel, which he cut, thus reaching a chamber. It is in the ceiling of this chamber that the post holes cut were made! Large rocks completely come to the ceiling in amber, obscuring all the temple treasures.

These temple treasures were under these rocks, and animal hides were used to hide them. However, they were glinting through the gaps. He then noticed a large rectangular stone box, which he identified as the Ark of the Covenant!

Wyatt’s Observations!

He professed about a black substance covering the bedrock crack in the chamber ceiling. There was also a coating of the cracked stone lid directly below it. After observing, he concluded that the black substance flowed post-crucifixion post-hole from the Roman street level above!

It has flowed down through the cracked bedrock to the mercy seat of the Ark! He identified it as blood and has scraped some of it. Wyatt then sent it to a lab in Jerusalem to get it tested.

The blood was still considered living with 24 chromosomes, out of which 23 chromosomes were of the mother, while one was unidentified and a non-human source. This is where the Israeli Government intervened.

Religion

The infamous amateur archaeologist Ronald Wyatt, who is dead, asserted on 6 January 1982 that he had found the Ark of the Covenant. A lot of scorn came his way. However, many believed him. The biblical discovery, however, lacked any media coverage or evaluation because it lacked evidence!

The Archeologist has claimed that he has discovered the Ark of the Covenant and made other discoveries. But one common thing in all his discoveries is no evidence or proof. In religion, a lot of aspects matter! For example, to learn about a murder of crow meaning, you have to explore folklore in different religions.

However, when people were doubting the discovery of the Ark of the Covenant, a lot of people explained that the Israeli Government had done a massive cover-up of these findings!

Archaeology

When discussing Wyatt’s archaeological findings, I would like to highlight the many warnings inside Gray’s book. Ronald Wyatt and Jonathan Gray’s religious backgrounds are also worth considering. The common element here is the seventh-day Adventism!

All the details from the “discovery” of Wyatt have been wrapped around the theology of Seventh-day Adventists. Ellen G. White made a prophecy, and apparently, the “discovery” was seen as fulfilling it.

The Seventh-Day Adventist (SDA) Church was co-founded by White, who was known for her visions, such as enrapturing, swooning, and unconscious episodes. She did not blink or breathe for several hours; hence, the way Wyatt posed his sightings of the Ark is quite similar!

Even the vision of Ellen White of Jesus was similar to how Wyatt saw Jesus. Hence, it is related to the seventh-day Adventists. Both saw Jesus wearing a handwoven garment with a blue border at the hem. However, not all Seventh-Day Adventists supported these visions.

Jonathan Gray’s Account

Jonathan Gray's Account

The discovery claimed by Ronald Wyatt was suspicious, especially in the eyes of the people. This discovery was not normal or public because the Archaeological publications and journalism were not mentioned.

Nobody was talking about this discovery until Jonathan Gray, a close associate of Wyatt, wrote a 600-page book about it. The book was a driving force into the world aware of the Ark of the coveCovenantcovery. The phrases used in the book and its cover are for attention-grabbing!

“Found at last,” “the legend they have to hide,” and other attention-grabbing statements. How the book has been written and promoted is quite controversial and vital in encouraging mysteries related to the Ark. Usually, when Archaeological findings-based books are there, you can directly go to the chapter for the specific information.

However, this book was very specific when they demanded that readers go to the beginning! They should start from the beginning to understand some of the events and their significance. It is after the book states that the Israeli Government has resurrected certain information.

The book continues to talk about the Ark of the Covenant phenomenon, after which Wyatt’s discovery is highlighted. A general discourse of the Ark is given across the Americas, the Pacific, Fiji, Amazthe, and other places on Earth. Even during World War II, a rumor regarding the Ark was highlighted!

The Supernatural Aspect Of It!

The Supernatural Aspect Of It!

One of the major reasons why they keep asking you to read the book from the beginning is because certain discoveries are on the verge of the paranormal. The Archaeological world might need to be more transparent with these discoveries.

It is because this is where the supernatural and the science merge! You need to know that Wyatt was not an Archeologist at first. Instead, he was a nurse anesthetist who claimed to have experiences with significant biblical discoveries in his tour of the Middle East.

Noah’s Ark is also included in these discoveries. The site that is identified for this discovery is Mount Sinai, which is present at the Red Sea crossing site. In a geographical location, I highlight this location as the Gulf of Aqaba instead of the Gulf of Suez.

Wyatt has claimed that he has discovered the blood of Jesus, the Ark of the Covenant, the sword of Goliath, and the Egyptian chariot wheels. What is completely weird is that there is a complete lack of evidence, yet Wyatt has been confidently sharing his information. The concern is that a section of people believe in it!

Another claim the infamous Archeologist made was that he had an out-of-body experience. It is due to this reason that he was digging the area of the Garden Tomb! He spoke about Jeremiah’s grotto while touring a specific location.

Lack Of Evidence!

Lack Of Evidence!

According to the book written by Gray, an Israel Antiquities Authority Official gave Wyatt the authority to start excavating! He gave Wyatt a permit, so W Hyatt became an Archaeologist. This is where science gave way to supernatural development through “spiritual” experiences.

Wyatt met Jesus, who was wearing a handwoven garment and was traveling from South Africa to New Jerusalem. There is a video testimony of Wyatt provided in the book! Several other individuals whose accounts have been shared tried to challenge the excavation process.

The book informed about the malicious purposes of these individuals who tried to come in between the site excavations. The claim is that these individuals dropped dead after they tried to pose a challenge in the excavation!

According to Wyatt’s claim, the ark chamber is where Wyatt claimed to have entered four times. In his description, none of his visits inside the chamber has mentioned that he has directly seen the Ark with his own eyes.

He was suffering from consciousness, and he fainted after he saw the Ark inside a stone box. In one of these visits, he states that the box was made of gold. He also claimed to have seen four angels inside the room, whom he addressed as the “guardians”!

These guardians instructed to get the blood on the wall lab tested. All of these are part of claims regarding the religious and the Archaeological reference of the Ark!

Did They Find The Ark Of The Covenant?

A leading archeologist at Tel Aviv University, Israel Finkelstein, informed us that a massive 81st-century BCE artificial platform was discovered. The location was in central Israel at a Catholic convent. According to the Tel Aviv University Archeologist Israel Finkelstein, it might have acted as an ancient shrine.

The site has been recently highlighted in the political machinations between Israel and Judah! Some significant remains can be unstated from the elevated podium, which is at its best associated with the Judean hilltop. The biblically accurate angels have also been connected with the site!

It has been 20 years since the Ark of the Covenant was paraded around Jerusalem. King David marched the legendary Ark across Jerusalem. The elusive Ark, however, is not the focus of the dig of this region; instead, the focus is on Biblical Kiriath-Jearim.

Why Is the Bible Tied To The Ark Of The Covenant?

Why Is the Bible Tied To The Ark Of The Covenant_

The Bible is connected with the Ark of the Covenant! You will learn about it in the Northern Kingdom excavation that the Tel Aviv University archaeologist led. According to him, there is a significant theme in the Bible where the Ark plays an important role.

An international expert on the Hebrew Bible informed us that in the original narrative, Kiriath-Jearim is the legitimate site after the destruction of the previous site of the Ark and the abandonment of Shilo.

This was confirmed by the co-directors Christophe Nicolle and Thomas Romer with Finkelstein in 2017 when they were breaking ground with the Shmunis Family Excavations. Later, of course, using the Ark as a political tool became a pragmatic approach to gaining purpose by people in power!

Finishing Off…

Now that you have read about the mystery around the Ark of the Covenant, you might develop an idea regarding the Christians in Ethiopia. Of Course, you will realize that we have concluded that the Ark of the Covenant has yet to be found, yet people are still curious about it.

The mysteries around the artifact often lead to questions: Were the Aksumite priests who created a tale integrated into history to establish their authority and congregations? When you read the article, what did you discover about your perception of the existence of the Ark?

A millennia-old mystery remains surrounding this Ark, and the worshippers and devotees believe in it beyond any doubt or question! Comment on your feelings about the artifact and its significance in Christian belief and culture!
